To introduce Gogoro Smartscooters and battery-swapping technology to Filipino consumers, Gogoro formed a partnership with the largest venture builder in the Philippines, Globe Group's 917Ventures and the country’s oldest conglomerate, Ayala Corporation this April. In anticipation of a highly awaited public launch, we welcomed over 60 Globe Group employees as the first group of Smartscooter riders in Metro Manila.
This represents the final step before Gogoro Smartscooters and battery-swapping officially become available to Filipino consumers. Let's take a look back at the exciting day when our pilot participants picked up their Smartscooters and experienced their first battery swaps at the first Gogoro Battery Swapping Station in Manila under Globe Tower.
