Gogoro Recognized As Global Disrupter With ‘Disrupt 100’ Recognition

Great news! Gogoro was recognized today as one of 2016's most 100 most disruptive global companies, being honored in the Disrupt 100 index, a bi-annual publication published by Tällt Ventures, who are celebrating businesses with “the most potential to influence, change or create new global markets.”

Shortlisted from 1 million global startups and corporate ventures, we were evaluated by a host of accomplished organizations and individuals, including global brands like IBM and Silicon Valley Bank, tech accelerators like Microsoft Ventures, and entrepreneurs such as Bill Liao, an influential investor of Twitter.

“Entire industries are being disrupted by new, often well-funded startups that are able to quickly scale and displace long-established companies. The Disrupt 100 champions those businesses who are rethinking today’s products, services, technologies and business models to open new markets and create new demand.” said Matt Connolly, the Managing Director of Disrupt 100.

As we move forward with creating smarter solutions for cities to manage, distribute and consume energy, recognitions such as inclusion in the Disrupt 100 validate our vision.
